Hey gang, does anyone remember this little shop? It was a few doors south of Immaculate Conception school. I googled the address and there's a Certa Pro Painters business in there as of 2013, but the building is still there

Those side entrance sneak-in's were still going on in my day too. The exit to the left of the screen/stage

I'm guessing Bloom Street is named either for him, or his family?

If that rear bumper hanging off is any indication, chances are they've parked incorrectly before...

Was there ever a Chicken and Rib Crib in Hackensack? The closest one I remember was in Garfield

Chicken Delight or Chicken Unlimited in Hasbrouck Heights were my go-to places as a kid. That, of course after Gino's (which sold KFC) closed

It's now a White Castle...glad to see the River St one is still there, I was at the one on Essex St a few weeks ago..

I know this is an old thread, but just wanted to share some great memories of Pulaski Park as a kid...
during summers meeting my friend who lived on Jay St to play basketball there, winters ice skating when the basketball court was frozen, playing tackle football with no pads or helmet on the big field in front of Jackson Ave school, even getting into my first fight in the park over my bicycle haha

I loved the Rialto, we'd walk over the bridge into RP and see those second run movies for $2.50 I believe it was. There was a Carvel across the street too I remember

Hell, I'd settle for the old Hackensack Drive-In (minus the inspection station) that you could watch from the Rt 46 bridge. Better yet (and speaking of Rt 46), put the old Rt 46 Drive-In there - that was a great drive-in.

The people in the Oritani Motel could watch the flicks (until THAT gets torn down).

I remember that drive-in well. You could see the movies while headed west over the Hackensack River bridge....many times we'd sneak in that drive-in as kids, and the traffic was always so backed up on Saturdays getting into inspection too. It took forever to just get into Valley Fair on those days
