Kazmier Wysocki, who first served as Hackensack mayor 52 years ago, is thinking about his obituary. He's even asked The Record's obituary writer — twice — to get cracking.
You do that when you're 95 and extremely organized, and when you've outlived your political allies and foes.
"All my friends, people I've dealt with, are gone," he said. "Holy smokes, I'm the only one left around here who's living!"

There's an interesting paragraph at the very end of the article about something that was discussed at the end of this thread - http://www.hackensacknow.org/index.php/topic,1557 - about a year-and-a-half ago:
* Chief No-Name: In 1962, Wysocki’s company rebuilt and bronzed "Chief No-Name," a woebegone statue of a Native American that had stood outside the River Street bus terminal. The restored statue was placed outside the Johnson Public Library; it is now in the lobby.
