I agree. It was next door to the Pool Hall.

Someone emailed me:

Years ago (the 1930s) there may have been a Chinese restaurant on the second floor of the building on Main Street  now known as 111 Main Street which houses the law firm of Frank Lucianna.  Although the building looks new from the outside with its aluminum façade, it is an old building which has been substantially renovated. This renovation work was done, if I remember correctly in the late  seventies or early eighties.

Does anyone remember a Chinese Restaurant on the 2nd floor?

I just joined after reviewing all the past history posts.  Yes, I remember the restaurant on the second floor. Dad owned Brooks Cut Rate Drugs and we ate there occasionally.  The son of the owner joined the army to fight in WWII and the family returned to China/Taiwan just after Mao took over to help their family when they fled to Taiwan.  I will have to think harder to see if I have any other info that I am sure I have somewhere.
