Title: Bubble Girl
Post by: BLeafe on October 20, 2011, 02:45:22 PM
As I was taking pictures from my LR window at 9am today, a bunch of bubbles flew by close to my window. Did Lawrence Welk move in downstairs?

Succeeding groups of bubbles flew by, but as soon as I saw them, they were gone because of the strong wind. I couldn't get a shot.

Finally, I opened the window and took a blind shot towards my bedroom A/C - Hammy's old perch - and got the first picture. I wonder what Hammy's reaction would have been to a bunch of bubbles invading his domain.

I looked down and saw a hand two floors below me waving a bubble wand out a window and took the second (out of focus) picture.

I then zoomed in and got the focus on a young girl (I think) and took the third shot. It turned out to be her final wand wave, so I'm glad I captured it. I didn't straighten out the picture because it would have cut out too many bubbles.

The fourth picture is just a straightened-out, zoomed-in version of the third one.

I'm gonna have to go downstairs and introduce myself and see if we can set up a better shoot of this.
