1. As I approached the event, I saw this gentleman doing the same from a different direction. I didn't know if that thing was loaded or not, so I ducked behind General Poor's monument to get the first shot. I later found out that he's James Smith - current president of the Bergen County Historical Society.

2. A minute later, another arrival - a mockingbird - showed up, but was not asked to sing.

3. The assembled masses walk up to General Poor's grave to begin the ceremony.

4. BCHS president James Smith says a few words.

6. The group listens to BCHS past president Kevin Wright speak about war veterans in general and Enoch Poor in particular.

7. BCHS past president Todd Braisted addresses the crowd.

8. The photographer's eye wanders and captures our girl Enlightenment getting her props.

9. After the ceremony, there was a tour of the historic cemetery.
