I've posted pictures of the sun reflecting directly off the Empire State Building. The same kind of reflection occurs off the new World Trade Center when the sun gets a little further south.
On my living room wall, there's a large framed photo I took in 1985 from Liberty State Park in Jersey City. It shows fireworks going off simultaneously in the Hudson and East rivers as a full moon rises between the Twin Towers.
Last Friday, I took a photo of the brilliant reflection off the new WTC. Exactly 24 hours later, I noticed the same reflection on my living room wall.
The new WTC was illuminating the old one.
