Hackensack Discussion / Costco
« on: May 17, 2012, 01:10:06 PM »
Something is going on with Costco.  The Zoning Board approved something for 80 S. River Street which is Costco and the rumors are a new Costco will be built in Lodi, with the Hackensack Costco closing.n  I can't imagine this happening.  Nobody is saying anything....

Hackensack Discussion / Re: House of Pizza

No.  Steve, the original owner was trying to get in touch with Mike who has had a hip replaced!  Unknown as to what his condition is as he is on disability according to Steve.  Marcello is being tracked down, but he may be in Ecaudor.   Joe, the guy who worked for Frankie (Danny) is in Florida working for Roma Foods.  Stay tuned.

HOUSE OF PIZZA at Main and Orchard, will be reopening soon.  Twice failed, Frankie L's and Frankie's, (interestingly, the same owner TWICE) will open soon under the oringinal owner and original name.   :-*  Hopefully, the customers will rejoice once again with stomach filling sandwiches and good pizza, which has left a huge void in our neighborhood pizza place!

Hackensack Discussion / Re: Solar powered street lights
« on: January 24, 2010, 02:11:55 AM »
They are NOT solar powered.  They are the fluorescent lights using less energy.  The new lights concentrate light toward the street and have no glass bowl underneath that would create glare.  Have you noticed that it's easier to drive at night?

Frankie L's Pizza has to be on life support!  The pizza is pretty bad, which says something why the place is never busy. Can you say OREGANO?!?!

STOP THE PRESSES!!!   FRANKIE L's HAD A MAKEOVER A FEW WEEKS AGO AND I'M HAPPY TO REPORT A 100% IMPROVEMENT IN THE PIZZA AND THE ENTIRE MENU!!!  FAIRMOUNT CAN ONCE AGAIN BE PROUD OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD PIZZA PLACE WITHOUT ANY DOUBT TO THE QUALITY OF THE PIZZA, SIZE OF THE SANDWICHES AND PRESENTATION OF THE FOOD. TOO BAD MY COVER WAS BLOWN, DOH!!!!  3/21/2009
