Dirty birds on the rise (but not for long)
« on: June 19, 2012, 06:52:06 PM »
The E lot's birdbath is no more.

Saturday, birds were able to bathe (first pic), but today Hackensack paved paradise and put up a parking lot.

This is bad news for the local avian population because the foul-smelling birds will be rejected by their mates and that means no more little birdies in the nests. This, in turn, spells disaster for the home nesting market.

With no nests and no mating, extinction is inevitable, but at least the city can finally paint a "62" on that space.
