My tardy (and somewhat flighty) Valentine
« on: February 18, 2013, 04:30:11 PM »
She was right there when I opened my front door early this morning. Apparently, she floated up the stairwell until she could go no further. I don't know where she came from, but she was 4 days late.

I took her in.

She didn't say much, but kept looking longingly out the window towards Manhattan. I had no choice but to set her free.

Never did catch her name.

And thus the story begins! Can't wait to read how her remains are discovered nestled in a tree along the banks of the Hackensack River. Maybe her family can hire a retired Hackensack Police Officer working as a one way Main Street private eye to look into her life and deflate any rumors about her past.
