Where did "ORITANA" originate? I always thought it was just a postcard misprint, but I see it listed as such in legitimate sources, including this site (http://www.hackensacknow.org/index.php?topic=571.0 at the very end of the thread), "The courts and lawyers of New Jersey 1661-1912, Volume 3"

Oritani and Oritana are disrespectfully ways of spelling the name of the great chief who graces the seal of the City of Hackensack.
