Description:

COMPLETE ORIGINAL Revolutionary War NEWSPAPER, the Edinburgh Advertiser (Scotland) dated Dec 15, 1780.  This is an 8 page newspaper with a page size of 11" x 8".

This newspaper has a report that American General GEORGE WASHINGTON was in HACKENSACK, New Jersey withhis Army of no more than 6000 men.

There is also a mention of the hangig of Briths Major Andre, who was implicated in the BENEDICT ARNOLD spy ring !!

There is some paper loss in the pper right hand corner with small test loss on all pages. This listing includes the complete entire original newspaper, NOT just a clipping or a page of it.
