Anderson St sidewalk obstructions

Anyone know why these heavy things are sitting right in the middle of the sidewalk?

Well, at least they're filled with beautiful, fragrant flowers.

Thanks Bob.  I sent to DPW.  Anderson Street could use all new flower planters, shrubs and flowers.  They are usually installed in early May (like we do on Main Street).  You'd be surprised how much garbage we pull out of flower planters on Main.  It's crazy, especially since there is usually a garbage receptacle 10 steps away.

So they finally moved these things from the center of the sidewalk last week, but left the Spring blooms in them, including The County Bloom (or is it "Bloom County".............wait....THAT comic hasn't run since the 80s).

Whatever. They need to get rid of all the garbage.
