HACKENSACK – A resident and school board member is suing the city, alleging he was unfairly charged $450 to obtain two months of legal bills and vouchers under the state Open Public Records Act.
Jason Nunnermacker, who filed the lawsuit last week, alleged that the city violated the public-records law and tried to limit access to information about how much the city spends on legal fees.
