HACKENSACK - Voters who made their way to the polls on April 23 approved the district tax levy and named four trustees, including two incumbents, to the Board of Education.
The approved $73.4 million tax levy will support a total budget of $104 million. For a home assessed at $240,329, taxes will increase $116 on the school portion of the property tax. The tax levy was approved in a 418-183 vote, according to unofficial results.
