(I just merged the two 395 Main topics so it will be complete back to last August.)
I am absolutely BURIED in jpeg files, video components, stitches, etc., from covering another week of multiple projects. Lotsa stuff going on with the further-away (from me) projects and after a couple of weeks of cleanup of the across-the-street properties at 400 and 402 State (Hanson Realty, Don Alfonso Restaurant), that crew has started in the same lot to take down the first Main St-fronting building from the back (State St side) - 387 Main.
Fortunately, I could still see most of that building from my apartment and continued shooting.
On Friday, they broke through to Main St. For the first time - looking straight ahead from home - I could see cars on Main, which now has a big gap in the block between Passaic and Ward streets.
So I went out and did some photo stitches.
The first one was done in November and posted in this thread back then, so I did a similar one on Friday that shows the block's new gap-toothed grin.
"Grin"? Well, look at the curvature of the road.
For a little variety, I got permission to go on the first-floor roof on the back of the building that says "Embroid Me" (Thank you, Bob Testa from the State Farm office in that building.............his name's on the red-and-white sign).
This glitchy stitch shows the yellow-bricked back of my building in the upper left and how far it really is how good the zoom is on my little camera in the pix of this project in other posts.
When the crew finishes the cleanup of the 387 site, they'll start on the wraparound - Main-Ward-State - main building of the 395 project. When that's done, I'll have my widest view of Main St for a short period of time before I lose nearly ALL the reason to look out of my living room window.
I’ll get all the other stuff posted……………..eventually.
