I've been itching to get back on the Hackensack River Walkway for a while now and yesterday - May 2 - was when it was finally re-opened.
Before I even got to the gate that separates the Johnson Park boardwalk from the FDU section, I got a celebratory raised-arm salute from a couple who were walking their dog. I thought this was the perfect image for the event and asked them if they would re-create it in front of my camera. "Sure", said Michael and Barbara from Bogota. I tried to get four-legged Joy to do the same, but...........
