He wasn't one of my faves and I'd be hard-pressed to name a song of his other than "Margaritaville", but he was loved by a lot of people my age.

I never got to see him in concert, but he DID pop up one day in 1979 at a Robert Klein Radio Hour taping that I was shooting at RCA Studios in Manhattan.

People magazine liked the combination of him, Klein, Peter Tosh and John Oates (of Hall & Oates) together and ran the shot in their 9-17-79 issue.
