President RICHARD NIXON campaigning with Rep. WILLIAM CAHILL in Hackensack, NJ in 1969 when Cahill was running for governor of New Jersey. Available on ebay here.

I remember this evening very well! It was my first date with Susan Diffenderffer. No tickets to get into the gym so we sat on a blanket at the upper soccer field got to know each other and watched the helicopter land and take off. We married in "73"......lasted 7 years.

Yes, this was at the HHS Gymnasium.
I was one of the first on line, but left my ticket at home. It took a while to convince the guard and then I was allowed in.
Sat in the bleachers just to the right of the attached photo.

The importance of Hackensack and Bergen County to politicians continues as many Presidents and
Dignateries keep searching for votes from both political parties.
