Excellent collection Bob! My first car was a 73 Vega that my dad bought me from someone up on Summit Ave. He haggled him from $300 to a "measly" $275. The fender had rot on it (the joke of Vega's is that they "rusted on the showroom floor") It was gold with a black interior. My dad felt it was "safe" for me cause it was a little 4 cylinder and I wouldn't "get into trouble" with it. Anyone who had a Vega used the expression "Fill it up with oil and check the gas" It burned a lot of oil, like yours did I'm sure. As the months went on the cars got bigger and faster, and after a few accidents and tickets for speeding and racing my dad WISHED I still had that Vega
